That’s good! That’s what we want! We want you to feel some kind of way, or otherwise we’re not doing our job.

 

Let’s get straight to the point. Simply put, a N***@ Whisperer is the embodiment of the type of people we have been talking about that are frontin for social justice. Figuratively speaking, it is someone who whispers in a Negro’s or Latino’s ear things or lies for the purpose of that Negro, Latino, or even white person being manipulated into building power that doesn’t benefit them. White people and black people can be N***@ Whisperers. Many of us, black, Latino workers, white people (and members) who were employed formerly and maybe even currently at a non-profit organization, a movement one like People United for Sustainable Housing (PUSH Buffalo) were brought in through a ‘doorway’ into the organization by a N***@ Whisperer.

 

In the game of poverty pimping, the poverty pimp survives and makes money by manipulating as many people as they can to build a stable of unsuspecting people who they can then use in a variety of ways to make money and build power. Often not in their victim’s own self-interests. In the case of PUSH Buffalo and other organizations like them, the N***@ Whisperer will identify and target potential employees or members who they view as being either at a potential vulnerable point in their lives, or use their life’s trauma and perceived insecurities as a way of finding the right things to whisper into these people’s ears to use them to make money or build political power. For a N***@ Whisperer and a poverty pimp, this is a common strategy to get people to help you make money and build power for them by using their ignorance and taking advantage of their weaknesses. Without them even knowing it!

 

But the real question is what is the game they are playing? Who are they working for? See the Big Boys don’t talk to lil niggas in the streets but they know they need them to cosign their plans.

Poverty pimps are being pimped themselves by banks, big companies and institutions that got smart after they killed the Black power movement. They won’t hang you from a tree but they will use their inside info to pimp you out to the real power brokers. They say it themselves: it’s OUR CITY!
