Buffalo News do everyone a favor and quote people who are actually on the frontlines doing the work who really care and know what they’re talking about. Don’t quote high paid corporate nonprofit hacks who are a part of the problem.
“I think where ever you leave the people out, it’s not an authentic and robust planning process, the U.S. Treasury and the ARP (American Rescue Plan) documents, they say this is supposed to be a genuine, authentic process that engages the public,” Harper Bishop, PUSH Buffalo deputy director of movement building, added.
People will be able to see in person for themselves how PUSH is gentrifying Buffalo’s West Side. You will see the so called ‘Net Zero House’, a house that is supposed decrease the carbon footprint by creating it’s own clean energy. There’s just one problem, the house doesn’t work!
